2020 Devinci AC GX Bike
If you are the type of rider who would love to delete the bike push section of a ride, then ordering the Devinci AC E-enduro mountain bike will basically forever free you from having to go through that particular exertion. Why push when you can ride?
The frame is made from high quality aluminum to keep it as light as possible, but still able to stand up to the punishment you will inevitably want to throw at it. There are multiple build options, but they all come with 170mm of rear travel and 180mm for the fork. This plush but sensitive suspension will prove just how essential the right suspension is to precise handling. Combined with a slack, aggressive geometry, the Devinci AC can handle just about any DH run you’ll find. Devnici has chosen to run the AC with 27.5 inch wheels and a capacity for 2.8 inch tires. That will give you the perfect balance between pop-ability and grippy-ness.
So going downhill will be no problem, but what about uphill, the bane of most downhillers lives? That’s where the E-part comes in. You’ll completely enjoy that extra oomph that the Shimano STEPS E8000 motor offers since you will have the control of an extra 250 watts that you can dose out according to the terrain requirements. It will be making sure that you’ll get that vital dynamic ride that offers great connectivity with the terrain.
As with other Devinci bikes, you can adjust your setting between Hi and Lo. In Hi mode, you’ll get a 65.5° head angle and in the Lo mode it’s 65° So you can run a more upright or slacker setup according to your trail needs and ride preferences. The adjustability of the geometry helps keep the AC feeling aggressive but still very balanced no matter what your focus. The flip flop pivot mechanism which allows you to lower the position will help make it quick and aggressive at low speeds uphill and fantastically stable when you are slashing it on a steeper section. Yet thanks to the seat angle, which hovers in the 76° range depending on the size and setting, you’ll feel comfortable and agile on the climbs, though the Shimano STEPS E8000 motor will have to take a lot of the credit for how effortlessly you’ll be getting up the hills. A lever, at your fingertips as if it were a shifter for a front derailleur, controls the three settings (ECO, TRAIL and BOOST). Then the Shimano STEPS E800 external battery makes it easy to charge, and guarantees a low overall weight. It’s even easy to store a second one in your backpack if you plan a multi-day off-grid adventure.
Enjoy the climbs as much as your fitter buddies when you buy the Devinci AC E-enduro mountain bike, and then kill ‘em with your skill on the way back down the trail.
