2020 Devinci DC GX Bike
Exploration demands the luxury of time. And let’s face it, most of us don’t have a whole lot of time to spare in a day. That’s where a Devinci DC E-all mountain bike with its 250w motor can come in really handy. You will have that extra level of speed that will redefine what the outer limits are of your usual 2 or 3 hour ride radius. Think of it as the ideal all-mountain bike that will amp up the fun factor by taking the edge off those long tough climbs that inevitably precede the super sweet descents.
Devinci made sure this is an all-mountain setup that can tame the tough trails with its stable, progressive suspension. The frame has been made from durable yet light aluminum so that it will feel easy to maneuver up hills. The handing is sharp with the perfect combo of 150mm travel in the rear and 160mm up front. You can buy different build options, but all of them will come with this amount of travel. The 29 inch wheels will work well with the agile handling, while the capacity for 2.6 inch tires will keep charging at a maximum.
Going up will be just as much fun as going down thanks to the 250w Shimano STEPS E8000 motor with its 504 watt hour battery. This is how you can enjoy your trail riding without limits. The battery is easy to charge in your house, while still keeping the overall weight down. Even with the Shimano STEPS E8000 motor, you can still count on getting a serious work out if you want. That’s because you are in complete control of the 250 watts worth of power. A lever, at your fingertips as if it were a shifter for a front derailleur, controls the three settings (ECO, TRAIL and BOOST).
As with other Devinci bikes, you can adjust your setting between Hi and Lo. In Hi mode, you’ll get a 66° head angle and in the Lo mode it’s 65.5° so you can run a more upright or slacker setup according to your trail needs and ride preferences. The adjustability of the geometry helps keep the DC feeling aggressive but still very balanced no matter what your focus. The flip flop pivot mechanism which allows you to lower the position will help make it quick and aggressive at low speeds uphill and fantastically stable when you are slashing it on a steeper section. Yet thanks to the seat angle, which ranges between 76.4° to 77° depending on the size and setting, you’ll feel comfortable and capable on the climbs, though the Shimano STEPS E8000 motor will have to take a lot of the credit for how effortlessly you’ll be getting up the hills.
Buying a Devinci DC E-all mountain bike will give you access to a huge amount of trail territory you may never otherwise reach.
