About the Trek Powerfly 5 Women’s Electric Mountain Bike
The Powerfly 5 Is one of Trek’s most capable electric hardtails. It’s built with components which stand up to abuse, like a dependable 12-speed SRAM drive train, a 120 mm RockShox Recon fork and a powerful Bosch Performance CX motor. The Powerfly rides like a trail bike because it is one: Powerfly is built according to Trek’s trail heritage, with mountain bike tech developed over decades of innovation. Trek have kitted it out with quality trail components, the new high-performance Bosch e-MTB system and a durable Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame featuring their new Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) design that fully encases a 500Wh battery. All of this makes the Powerfly an ideal companion for long days and bigger, better trail adventures. The Powerfly is perfect if you want a boost on the climbs so you can get rad on the way down.
The Powerfly features the new, Bosch Performance Line motor, which is smaller, lighter and more efficient than the previous versions. Most importantly for us, it feels more natural while you’re pedalling and has less drag when you’re not receiving any assistance. Ultimately making this one of the lightest and liveliest, most natural feeling E-MTBs we have ever ridden.
The Bosch E-bike system delivers intuitive assistance as you pedal. You can customise this level of assistance via the handlebar mounted Purion controller, which displays ride info, connects with your Bluetooth-enabled devices and allows you to monitor your battery level on the go. The battery itself makes use of Trek’s Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) system, which makes it streamlined, discrete and super user-friendly: it fully hides the battery in the frame for protection, makes it easy remove the battery without tools and lets you mount a water bottle cage. The battery also features an external charging port for easy charging on or off the bike.

Smart Sizing
All sizes but L feature a curved top tube that makes standing over the bike easier. Plus, Smart Wheel Sizing means you’ll get the fastest wheel that fits – 29˝ wheels on larger frames, 27.5˝ wheels on smaller frames
